
Rajiv Vase
Rajiv is a graduate of the University of Manitoba with a Master's in Physical Therapy and holds a Bachelor of Human Kinetics specializing in Exercise Science from the University of British Columbia (2007). Prior to becoming a Registered Physiotherapist, he worked as a full-time Canadian Board Certified Pedorthist (C.PedC) for over 5 years. He is also a former certified Exercise Physiologist (CSEP) and Strength and Conditioning Coach (NSCA). Rajiv went on to complete his Sports Physiotherapy Fellowship at the Fowler Kennedy Sports Medicine Clinic in London, ON in 2015. During this time, he was the team physiotherapist for the UWO Mustangs Football team as well as physiotherapist to all UWO varsity athletes (20+ sports) during in-clinic hours. He also worked as team physiotherapist for the London Jr. Knights AAA Minor Midget Hockey team (top 4 finish at the 2015 OHL Cup) and was selected as Chief Therapist for the 2015 London Forrest City Road Races. In 2019, he went on to complete his Clinical Masters in Advanced Health Care Practice (ACHP) and obtained his Fellowship from the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Therapy (FCAMPT) through Western University. Rajiv has advanced training in Rheumatology, pharmacology and medical imaging. He completed his ACPAC (Advanced Clinical Practitioner in Arthritis Care) certification through the University of Toronto, Faculty of Medicine in 2020. Raj is an adjunct lecturer at the Department of Physical therapy, University of Toronto and an Instructor in the Advanced integrated Musculoskeletal (AIM) program in the Orthopedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. He currently works as an Advanced Practice Physiotherapist in the Emergency Department (Fast Track/Minors Injuries clinic) at Trillium Health Partners- Credit Valley Hospital where he helps triage all musculoskeletal (MSK) injuries in the Fast Track Care Centre and serves as a MSK expert resource for all patients and patient care teams. He has a special interest in lower extremity pathology, foot orthotics, gait analysis, pre-surgical rehabilitation, Arthritis and Spinal stenosis. Rajiv speaks English and Hindi. He has played badminton at the junior national level and continues to play recreationally. He enjoys playing many sports including basketball, soccer, tennis and squash.
