Sasha Guay
Sasha is an experienced Physiotherapist. She most recently completed a Masters of Clinical Science at Western University in 2021 where she became a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT) and completed research in knee osteoarthritis and running. Prior to this, she completed her Sports Physiotherapy Fellowship at the University of Guelph in 2019, and her Masters in Physiotherapy at Queen’s in 2018. She has also completed her Integrated Dry Needling certification and coursework in concussion and vestibular rehabilitation. She is passionate about working with athletes and has experience treating individuals ranging from professional to novice. She has enjoyed working with a variety of sports teams, including a Minor Midget AAA hockey team, varsity lacrosse at the University of Guelph and Western, as well as rugby clubs at International events. Like most of us on the Physical Edge team, she is an athlete and comes from a background of sport. She played varsity rugby at Western University while completing her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology. She has competed in a variety of other sports, such as hockey, soccer, track and field, tennis, golf and field hockey. Passions outside of physiotherapy include hiking, tennis, spending time with her friends, family and dogs, cooking and interval training.
